Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly driven, results-oriented Business Development & Sales Manager to spearhead the market expansion and client acquisition for Eyezone International across Egypt. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving institutional B2B sales (optical retail chains, eye clinics, hospitals, and training academies) and individual professional enrolments for our accredited continuing education programs (University of Hyderabad programs and US-accredited ABO/NCLE courses).

Operating from a professional workspace with direct guidance from the CEO, you will act as the frontline representative to build strategic relationships within the Egyptian eyecare and optical community.

3. Key Responsibilities & Duties

Market Penetration & B2B Sales:
Identify, map, and actively pitch optical retail chains, independent optical shops, eye clinics, and hospitals across major Egyptian governorates (Cairo, Alexandria, Delta, and Upper Egypt).
Drive sales of corporate training packages (Small & Large Corporate tiers) and digital continuing education subscriptions.

Institutional & Academic Outreach:
Establish communication channels with optical institutes, training centers, and professional associations (such as the Egyptian Opticians Association) to promote our multi-level vocational training programs.

Community Building & Brand Awareness:
Promote our "Practice While You Learn" educational philosophy among practitioners, shop owners, and job seekers looking to upgrade their skills or prepare for regional GCC opportunities.

Pipeline & Account Management:
Manage the complete sales cycle from initial prospecting and field visits to closing contracts, onboarding clients, and ensuring high retention rates.
Maintain regular reporting on market feedback, competitor activities, and sales pipeline progress directly to the CEO.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales, business development, medical/optical device sales, or educational services in the Egyptian market.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the optical retail sector, eye care clinics, or medical pharmaceutical sales in Egypt is a strong advantage.

Skills:
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong self-management, discipline, and capability to work under direct executive leadership.
Fluent in English Arabic (written and spoken);

This role is responsible for managing the full grants lifecycle, from pre-award assessments and budget reviews to implementation monitoring, payment validation, financial oversight, and close-out activities. The position also provides procurement leadership, ensuring that sourcing, vendor management, due diligence, contracts, and process controls are executed in line with organizational policies and governance requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with Programs, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), Process Excellence, and other internal stakeholders to ensure funds are deployed effectively, transparently, and in accordance with approved policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Grants Management
Lead grant administration throughout the full lifecycle, including pre-award review, agreement setup, monitoring, reporting, and close-out.
Review partner proposals, budgets, and funding structures to ensure alignment with program objectives and approved funding frameworks.
Conduct grants-related financial reviews and due diligence assessments.
Monitor grant implementation against approved budgets, payment schedules, milestones, reporting requirements, and funding conditions.
Review payment requests and supporting documentation prior to Finance processing.
Support budget reallocations, agreement amendments, and no-cost extensions in accordance with governance requirements.
Coordinate grant reconciliations and ensure complete and auditable documentation throughout the grant lifecycle.
Maintain funding forecasts and portfolio visibility across allocated, committed, and disbursed funds.

Procurement Governance & Oversight
Oversee procurement activities managed by Procurement & Grants Officers and provide technical guidance and quality assurance.
Review sourcing strategies, supplier selection processes, comparative evaluations, and direct-award justifications.
Ensure procurement files meet due diligence, approval, and compliance requirements.
Maintain procurement policies, standard operating procedures, templates, and control frameworks.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate procurement routes, contract management, and supplier governance.
Support vendor prequalification, performance monitoring, and approved supplier management.
Promote transparency, traceability, and audit readiness across procurement operations.

Compliance, Controls & Process Improvement
Maintain complete, accurate, and auditable procurement and grant records.
Support internal and external audit engagements and address audit findings.
Monitor control exceptions and drive timely resolution and escalation where required.
Ensure accurate data management within organizational systems, including ERP/CRM platforms.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, workflows, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Contribute procurement, grants, and financial insights to planning and resource-allocation discussions.

Team Leadership
Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and technical guidance to Procurement & Grants Officer(s).
Review work quality, prioritize activities, and support professional development.
Ensure all procurement and grants activities are completed in line with organizational policies and standards.

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in grants management, procurement, finance, partnership operations, or program support.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred
Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
Professional certification in procurement, grants management, finance, or related fields.
5+ years of experience in grants, procurement, financial control, or partnership operations.
Experience working across regional or international programs.

Job Purpose:

1-Management-system support

Support registration, acknowledgement, evidence collection, status tracking and closure records for complaints and appeals while preserving impartiality and confidentiality under TAD-CAP.

8-Competence and training coordination

Maintain training records, induction records, competence matrices, authorization matrices, training needs, CPD records and evidence of evaluation with HR and process owners under TAD-HRP.

9-Impartiality and confidentiality support

Maintain declarations, agreements, impartiality risk records, committee records and confidentiality controls. Escalate any conflict, pressure, threat or breach to the Quality Manager.

10-Certification, inspection and scheme support

Support process owners by ensuring required forms, checklists, records and status registers are complete, controlled and traceable for product certification, inspection, management system certification and persons certification activities.

11-Data analysis and reporting

Prepare quality performance summaries, KPI trackers, audit/CAPA status, document-control status, complaint/appeal trends, training completion and management-system compliance dashboards for the Quality Manager.

12-Continual improvement

Identify document gaps, duplicated records, outdated references, inconsistent retention periods and process weaknesses. Recommend improvement actions to the Quality Manager for review and approval.

Competence Requirements:-

Education / background

Diploma or bachelor's degree in quality management, business administration, engineering, science, law or a relevant discipline, or equivalent competence accepted by the Quality Manager.

Management-system knowledge

Awareness of ISO 9001 and the applicable conformity assessment standards: ISO/IEC 17065, ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17021-1 and ISO/IEC 17024.

Document-control competence

Practical ability to apply TAD-CDR, maintain master lists, control revisions, use document change notes, protect records and manage retention/disposal requirements.

Audit and CAPA competence

Understanding of internal audit principles, ISO 19011 guidance, nonconformity grading, root-cause analysis, correction, corrective action and effectiveness verification.

Execute and lead offensive security engagements — from vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) across web, mobile, network, API, cloud, and IoT, through to full adversary emulation and red teaming.
