Senior Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Consultant
✨ About This Role
The primary function of the Senior Oracle EPM Consultant role is to effectively deliver/implement Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud modules, in order to provide an integrated planning, budgeting, consolidation, and reporting solution.
Accountability:-
• Facilitate and actively participate in all phases of the Implementation cycle, to include Requirements Gathering & Analysis, System Design & Development, Testing, and Implementation of Oracle EPM Cloud solutions.
• Assist Business Users in mapping and streamlining / re-engineering planning, budgeting, consolidation, and reporting processes to implement various Oracle EPM modules, using standardized implementation methodology including reports specification development and deployment.
• Assist, coach, and mentor other engagement team members on issues they may encounter in the design and implementation of EPM solutions. Participates actively in internal Oracle EPM problem management.
• Consults offshore and/or onsite with internal/external clients on business requirements in order to provide support.
• Supports multiple projects/tasks within assigned area of the Oracle EPM portfolio and related business applications.
• Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his direct manager.
• Drives business process re-engineering and related lean concepts through Oracle EPM and related information systems best practice deployment.
• Develop business re-engineering and modelling for planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
• Setting up design solutions, application builds, and system configuration / parameterize.
• Provides in-depth technical consultation to Business Unit and project supervision to ensure development of efficient EPM application systems utilizing established standards, procedures, and methodologies.
• Work closely with Project Manager in EPM projects management & planning activities.
Qualification :-
• Bachelor's and/or master's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Oracle EPM Cloud.
• Should have at least 5 full cycle implementation projects with Oracle EPM Cloud with extensive experience across Planning and Budgeting, Financial Consolidation, and Reporting modules.
• Should have a very good functional financial experience that lets him cover various financial planning and reporting treatments consultation.
• Experience with the following:
• Planning & Budgeting Cloud (PBCS/EPBCS): Application build and configuration, forms and templates design, business rules (Groovy/Calc Manager), data forms, task lists, and approval workflows.
• Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS): Configuration and setup. Awareness of consolidation rules, inter company eliminations, currency translation, ownership management, and journals.
• Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARCS): Reconciliation rule setup, transaction matching, and reporting (added advantage). • Narrative Reporting (EPRCS): Report package design, Management Reporting, and integration with Planning/FCCS data sources.
• Data Integration: Data Management / FDMEE configuration, data load rules, mappings, and integration with Oracle Financials and third-party source systems.
• Smart View / Reporting: Building and maintaining ad hoc and pre-built reports, dashboards, and grids for business users.
• Essbase / Calculation Manager: Awareness of cube design, dimension build, business rules, and calculation scripts.
• OUM Implementation Methodology: Documentation procedures across different phases of the projects.
• Configuration and setups: Hands-on experience in performing setup and configuration.
• Add on having Oracle EPM certification.
